Merryment at Maré

Our December event will be our last Michelin-starred lunch of 2026.

We were last at Maré in October just weeks after it opened, since then it has gone on to get a star, the first one in Brighton and Hove for over four decades!

Maré translates to ‘tide’ in Portuguese, chosen to reflect the menu’s response to the seasons – much like the rhythmic ebb and flow of the waves. Dishes are thoughtfully crafted to reflect seasonal ingredients, inspired greatly by the East Sussex locale. Chef Rafael Cagali’s protégé, Ewan Waller, is Head Chef. The menu is a fusion of Brazilian and Italian inspired dishes.

This event is open to guests, an ideal opportunity to treat that colleague, client or prospect.
