Why We Collect It and Our Lawful Basis

Under UK GDPR, we are required to have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. The table below sets out how that applies to each type of processing we carry out.

Membership administration and event management: contractual necessity. We need this data to manage your membership, process bookings, and communicate with you about events.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose your data where required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Table Talk Business Club, its members, or others.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, and no longer.

Member data: held for the duration of your membership. After membership ends, your contact details and membership records are retained for two years, then deleted.

Financial records: payment history and invoices are kept for six years to comply with HMRC requirements.

Event attendance records: kept for two years after the event date.
